Supplies are limited.  No late orders accepted.  Sale ends June 3, 2016.  Order forms are available in the LMS office.  Please Note:  Yearbooks will not be printed until summer.  Yearbooks will be distributed to students in Fall 2016.

May Teacher of the Month

Congratulations 
to the Lorena Middle School Teacher of the Month for May - Mr. Pat Browder!



Mr. Browder teaches 6th grade Social Studies at Lorena Middle School.  He is in his 21st year of teaching, all of them at Lorena Middle School. 

Below is a portion of the nomination letter Mr. Browder received:

Mr. Browder deserves to be teacher of the month.  In his class, we get to learn about places all over the world.  To help us know everything, we get to use chromebooks and lots of technology.  What I like most about his class is when we play quiz games, we are learning and having fun at the same time. Mr. Browder always jokes with us and we know he is there for us. That's why I think Mr. Browder should get to be Teacher of the Month. He is great!

In this last six weeks of the school year, there are LOTS of activities to keep in mind.  

May 11 - Athletic Physicals @ the HS

May 12 - 7th & 8th Athletic Hot Dog Banquet

May 16 - Leopard Olympics and Board Meeting @ 7pm

May 17 - 7th & 8th Band to Six Flags

May 18 - 6th grade Lexington Trip and Early Release

May 23 - 8th grade Incentive Trip and 5th grade visit to LMS

May 25 - AR 120 points Six Flags Trip

May 26 - Awards Ceremonies in LMS Gym
                6th @ 8:30, 7th @ 9:30 and 8th @ 10:30

                Band Recital at LMS

May 30 - No School

May 31 - 7th grade Incentive Trip and 6th grade History of Lorena
